Country of Origin, History of Pulis
The Puli is a happy dog that is good with families. Unless they are raised with children they will probably not get along with children.
They are very smart and easy to train and make good obedience and agility dogs. Pulik (plural for Puli) do not necessarily need a yard as long as they get enough exercise.
Around six months the Puli begins to get its corded coat. The outer coat and undercoat start to mingle together and mat. The mats need to be separated by hand on a regular basis, torn from the tip all the way to the skin by hand. They should not be thinner than a pencil. The coat is easy to take care of as long as it is kept separated on a regular basis.
