About
Lowchen
The Löwchen
looks fragile and even undignified with its
lion-cut coat, but it really is robust, strong-willed
and arrogant. Males will not hesitate to challenge
much bigger dogs for leadership in a household.
They are good with children and non-canine
pets. They are lively, eager to learn, and
playful.
They can be easily housetrained,
socialized and obedience trained. They defend
their home and family with intense barking.
Some are problem barkers and some are diggers.

They adapt to apartment dwelling
as long as they are walked regularly.
