About Angel, The Miniature Schnauzer

Angel, a Purebred Miniature Schnauzer was adopted by Annie Williams from United States.
Here's how Annie Williams describes Angel :
Smart, beautiful, playful, lovable, considerate, a problem solver, and very energetic, athletic, and a very eager learner.
Does Angel 's behavior show the inherent Miniature Schnauzer characteristics?
Pretty much like miniature schnauzers, but not all. mini schnauzers are natural talkers (barkers). Angel definitely has that "high-pitch" bark. however, with all the training we have done together, she has improved drastically. she still talks (barks), but has learned the trick of "speak & quiet". she does meet the height and weight requirement for a show-dog, as well as has the acceptable colors, patterns, and markings. all miniature schnauzers have their own unique personality, and Angel is no different. we also purchased Angel's sister for our grown son and his wife, and she has a completely different personality. the temperament for a miniature schnauzer is robust, active, alert, happy, hardy, healthy, and smart, and sometimes a little stubborn. Angel is all that and more.
Special Achievement of Angel :
When Angel was one week short of 4 months old (after receiving all of her shots) we enrolled in classes with our local akc dog trainer. since that time Angel has completed the following: puppy kindergarten; basic obedience training; tricks class; clicker trained; canine good citizen class and passed the akc test at 8.5 months old; she is an akc star puppy as well; currently enrolled in therapy class (2 more class periods remaining) and already passed her control evaluation to begin her visits and passed her therapy test. however, we will have to spread out our required visits through to her 1st birthday in april, as she can not receive her therapy certification until she is at least one year old. we will begin advanced expert class this coming saturday. Angel is learning so quickly ... there is no telling how far she'll go. my husband and i got Angel some agility equipment for christmas, and her daddy (my husband) is going to build her the rest this winter in the garage and that will be Angel's 1st birthday present...a mini agility course in our backyard. we have arranged to have her take agility classes this spring from an authorized agility instructor.
Annie Williams's advice on what type of family should adopt a Miniature Schnauzer:
Miniature schnauzers love kids, especially when they're raised with them. they're sturdy and not easily injured by awkward toddlers or older folks who may walk with assistant devices. their temperament makes them outstanding buddies for games and family activities. when parents are involved and enjoy owning a dog themselves, miniature schnauzers can fit into a home with children of any age. though small in stature, the mini schnauzer is a mighty good family dog. as i once heard a miniature schnauzer owner state..."my mini schnauzer is not a dog but a short person who wears a furry costume." a wonderful pet for anyone who wants a devoted friend in a furry costume for life.

About Aragon (for Short - Gosha), The Miniature Schnauzer

Aragon (for Short - Gosha), a Purebred Miniature Schnauzer was adopted by Yuliya from Ukraine.
Here's how Yuliya describes Aragon (for Short - Gosha) :
The most devoted, intelligent and sympathetic friend i have ever known.
Does Aragon (for short - gosha) 's behavior show the inherent Miniature Schnauzer characteristics?
I think his bright mind and quick reactions are inherited, but as to his ability to feel what i feel and forget his own needs for the sake of his master, they are absolutely unique.
Special Achievement of Aragon (for Short - Gosha) :
My dog was killed by a hooligan last year/ i lost the friend i loved the most. these words are what i owe to him. you know, i have a severe diabetes since i was five. i was in koma twice because when the level of sugar in my blood lowered i didn't feel it while sleeping at night. these troubles sttopped with the appearance of gosha in our house. i don't know how, but he used to know that i was getting worse , he would start barking, getting nervous, ran to call for my family when he couldn't wake me up. actually, he saved my life several times. when i was unwell, he used to bring me his bone because he wanted to treat me with the most delicious food he had. i feel so sorry and so guilty that i was not able to help him. the injury was to bad and the vets didn't manage to save him. i know that i will never have such a friend again, and i don't want to. i just miss and still love gosha.
Yuliya's advice on what type of family should adopt a Miniature Schnauzer:
To anyone who is active and is ready to spend some time playing with your dog outdoors.these dogs are very active and agile, so the owner should be patient and persistent, especially at first.they have sense of humour and would be bored with a dull personality as their master. if you are out most of the day don't chose schnauzer: they need communication and will suffer alone.at least keep two pets in the house!

About Roy & Sadie, The Miniature Schnauzer

Roy & Sadie, a Purebred Miniature Schnauzer was adopted by Nathalie from United States.
Here's how Nathalie describes Roy & Sadie :
When i went to a groomer in rhode island, she told me to use a flea comb to groom my schnauzer. that was over 10 years ago and i find this the best way to keep tangles out of Roy & Sadie's coats and they love it! it works much better than any brush. of course, i do this often so they don't get any painful tangles.
