About Lulu, The Bulldog

Lulu, a Purebred Bulldog was adopted by Tara from Canada.
Here's how Tara describes Lulu :
She thinks she is a human when she is playing with my niece. they play together like to children do. she has a mind of her own as well but also looks to us for guidance. we think she knows english fluently as we can tell her to do things and she does them when we ask (example: lulu go get some water, she then will go get a drink of water)
Does Lulu 's behavior show the inherent Bulldog characteristics?
Oh yes bulldog are one of the smartest breeds and also stubborn when she wants her own way (example: we will try to take her for a walk around the corner but she will drag us to the park for play time) she is also very submissive with people and other dogs!
Special Achievement of Lulu :
I have owned a few dogs and she has got to be one of the most relaxed doggies i have had. everytime we are on the street walking she seeks attention and waiting for people to walk by so she can pay down and rollover on her back so strangers will pet her belly and give her attention. when she sees other dogs she does the same thing...she is very cute to watch!
Tara's advice on what type of family should adopt a Bulldog:
I would recommend this breed to anyone single, married with children and even the elderly. this is my very first bulldog and i have to say that the breeder way right when saying "if this is your first bulldog, i'm 100% sure she won't be your last!" they are so loving, caring and know just when you need them to cuddle with you. we love our lulu and wouldn't trade her in for anything!!!

About Doxie Blue, The Bulldog

Doxie Blue, a Purebred Bulldog was adopted by Tricia Ceperley from Canada.
Here's how Tricia Ceperley describes Doxie Blue :
An american bulldog. she is mainly white with two medium size tan spots just above her tail, a large tan one around her left eye, a small black spot above her right eye, and tan on both ears. she has a nicely square head and long muscular legs along with a strong chest. very athletic.
Does Doxie blue 's behavior show the inherent Bulldog characteristics?
Doxie can be quite "bullheaded" at times, but she is now at the age of two and becoming very well mannered. i think the one thing we need to work on is coming when called every time.
Special Achievement of Doxie Blue :
Doxie will do just about anything to be where you are at the time, including climbing ladders.
Tricia Ceperley's advice on what type of family should adopt a Bulldog:
Families with patience and time always are most important with any breed. patience most of all. kids are awesome with american bulldogs.

About Cassius, The Bulldog

Cassius, a Purebred Bulldog was adopted by Chad Sukel from United States.
Here's how Chad Sukel describes Cassius :
He has two speeds, either stop or peddle to the floor! he really doesn't have an in between!
Does Cassius 's behavior show the inherent Bulldog characteristics?
He is very stubborn, hard headed, & extremely tenacious when he wants something!
Special Achievement of Cassius :
Even though he can test your patience on a daily basis, he is a big clown that brightens your day!
Chad Sukel's advice on what type of family should adopt a Bulldog:
A very patient one! if they have kids, they should either be older or tough, because these dogs don't go around things! they go through anything in there way, including children!

About Marque, The Bulldog

Marque, a Mixed Breed Bulldog was by Kim Sim from Malaysia.
Here's how Kim Sim describes Marque :
He is my four legged son! he thinks like human and understands me perfectly well. is he a dog? i don't think so!!!
Does Marque 's behavior show the inherent Bulldog characteristics?
He is as playful as a boxer and really knows how to make you laugh even in your worse day at work. on the other hand, he is as lazy as any other bulldog. tilt his eyes to look at you without even lifting his head. he will have that crazy run once in a while that you will think that he has gone mad, but the next moment, he is so arrogant and elegant, sitting with his head high, prominently showing his undershot jaw. he is so intelligent and cunning at times. he is our alarm clock as he wakes us up every morning at 7am by our bedside. not barking, just softly calling. :) on his naughty side, he can put up a poker's face, act innocent and waits for his moment. once he sees the opportunity, he will dash for it. when you discipline him, he will immediately lie down and give you that superlly pathetic look of a bulldog. :)
Special Achievement of Marque :
Dog lovers like me would always want a dog who can be your companion. cheer you up when you are down, wake you up when you overslept and patiently waits for you (and remind you) that it is time to be with him even though you could be overly buzy with something else.
Kim Sim's advice on what type of family should adopt a Bulldog:
If you want a lovely companion who can share your joy and sorrow, a bulloxer (i call it this way) is the perfect one for you. somehow, i would recomment it to dog owners who have time for them. they just need to be close to human, share our feelings and everything!
