About Sadie, The Boxer

Sadie, a Purebred Boxer was adopted by Deborah Lucas from United States.
Here's how Deborah Lucas describes Sadie :
My boxer is energetic, full of fun, very loving and affectionate, mischievous, entertaining, intelligent, talented, and full of life.
Does Sadie 's behavior show the inherent Boxer characteristics?
Yes her behavior and attitude are all boxer! boxers are known for their energy, mischievousness, intelligence and liveliness.
Special Achievement of Sadie :
My sadie is so loving and sweet! she loves to lay in between my husband and i, smack in the middle of our king-sized bed and snuggle, after a long day of active play. she will sprawl across our bed, so that sometimes my husband and i are literally hanging off of the edge! she loves to roughhouse with my husband and he gets her all riled up. she "kidney beans" her body, when she is excited or whenever one of us comes home from an absence; even if we have only been gone one hour or less. her favorite toy in the world, is a yellow disk and she loves for us to throw it, so she can chase it. she will even catch it in midair! i have even seen her land with her two front paws on the disk and literally "ski" down the hallway on our stone-tiled floor-- it is hysterical! sadie loves to go "bye-bye" and tries any way she can, to get into our truck or car, and if she is not to go with us, we have to spell the words "go" and "bye-bye" and sneak out. when she runs, she literally bounces, like a deer or kangeroo, and pounces on her toys. she dearly loves bacon (basically anything i cook), and whenever i am making breakfast for my husband, she is right there to supervise and to make sure she gets her share. she is a source of entertainment and fun for my husband and i. we have no children or grandchildren, but her, but she is my "kid" and is a handful! my sadie is very spoiled by us! she is afraid of strangers and loud noises, but she will become your best friend if you take it slow and easy, let her sniff you, and scratch behind her ears. i love her to death! whenever we have to leave her behind for any length of time, we always make sure she goes to a "doggy spa" or a friend and has the best care, like our child. we love her so much!
Deborah Lucas's advice on what type of family should adopt a Boxer:
Families with children or a stay-at-home mother; persons who can give their boxer lots of attention and play energetic with them. they love lots of attention, but when left to their own devices, they find their own brand of "fun" and it may not be to your liking! they demand to be stimulated. while training them, you have to stay on them, 24/7. but when they are properly trained, they are the best dog to have! boxers are people too!

About Marque, The Boxer

Marque, a Mixed Breed Boxer was by Kim Sim from Malaysia.
Here's how Kim Sim describes Marque :
He is my four legged son! he thinks like human and understands me perfectly well. is he a dog? i don't think so!!!
Does Marque 's behavior show the inherent Boxer characteristics?
He is as playful as a boxer and really knows how to make you laugh even in your worse day at work. on the other hand, he is as lazy as any other bulldog. tilt his eyes to look at you without even lifting his head. he will have that crazy run once in a while that you will think that he has gone mad, but the next moment, he is so arrogant and elegant, sitting with his head high, prominently showing his undershot jaw. he is so intelligent and cunning at times. he is our alarm clock as he wakes us up every morning at 7am by our bedside. not barking, just softly calling. :) on his naughty side, he can put up a poker's face, act innocent and waits for his moment. once he sees the opportunity, he will dash for it. when you discipline him, he will immediately lie down and give you that superlly pathetic look of a bulldog. :)
Special Achievement of Marque :
Dog lovers like me would always want a dog who can be your companion. cheer you up when you are down, wake you up when you overslept and patiently waits for you (and remind you) that it is time to be with him even though you could be overly buzy with something else.
Kim Sim's advice on what type of family should adopt a Boxer:
If you want a lovely companion who can share your joy and sorrow, a bulloxer (i call it this way) is the perfect one for you. somehow, i would recomment it to dog owners who have time for them. they just need to be close to human, share our feelings and everything!
