About
Cookie, The Bichon Frise |
|
Cookie, a
Mixed Breed Bichon Frise was
rescued by
Dana Rabin from
United States. |
Here's how
Dana Rabin describes
Cookie :
A sweet loving little girl. |
Does
Cookie 's behavior show the inherent Bichon Frise
characteristics?
We rescued cookie from a bad part of los angeles, california and we do not know enough just yet... with the exception of one thing i know for sure she has the sweetness of a bichon, a calm, quite, loving dog. she especially likes to sit on your lap. she could stay there all day if she could.
more of her personality will come out in the weeks ahead. but, cookie desperately needs alot of tlc and training - as soon as possible. |
Special Achievement of Cookie :
When you consider to rescue a dog, you must do your homework first...and be prepared to have the time, patience, and understanding - for these poor little doggies suffer from seperation anxiety disorder, and other unknown problems. so, they need alot of love and compassion.
|
Dana Rabin's advice on what type of family should adopt
a Bichon Frise:
A couple or a family with older children. (so, that they do not constantly hover over the dog when it arrives in their new home.) |
About
Charlie, The Bichon Frise |
|
Charlie, a
Mixed Breed Bichon Frise was
adopted by
Anita Bowers from
United States. |
Here's how
Anita Bowers describes
Charlie :
Energetic, happy, funny, loyal, clown, very needy, separation anxiety issues, now won't even go out dog door to pee; even if i'm in the house. he hates that much to be separated from me. going somewhere with him in my vehicle, and leaving him in it to go in anywhere is another huge pain in the neck. |
Does
Charlie 's behavior show the inherent Bichon Frise
characteristics?
So i'm told. on advise, i walked him 1/2 hour every morning before i left for work, and 1/2 hour every evening on my return. now i think thats why he won't go out his dogdoor anymore and go in the back yard. so i started walking him there instead. i'm at the end of my rope. |
Special Achievement of Charlie :
He is so smart and loves to play, ofcoarse, but is really starting to cause me stress because of his neediness. otherwise he learns quickly, trick and such, and love to cuddle...a true lap baby. |
Anita Bowers's advice on what type of family should adopt
a Bichon Frise:
Retired people who can spend time with the dog to adaquately train it and condition it not to be so intense about being separated from the owner. |
