dory was named after the character in the movie "finding nemo". and true to her namesake, she she is on her mission, then suddenly finds heself wondering what she is doing. after a moment of distraction, she quickly recovers and is back at it. her colors are bright and distinct, and her eyes twinkle. |

with everything i have read about bassets, dory seems to be right in the loop. she listens intently, cocking her head, as if to discern the words that come from my mouth. i've only had her three weeks, so i have much to learn from her and vice versa. |

i also have a 13 yr old english cocker. he loves dory, and she follows him, imitating many good habits. he has made it easy to show her about going outside to potty, sitting to get your food dish set down, and just basic calmness. |
