Does Lucas 's behavior show the inherent American Foxhound characteristics?
Yes, his bark is the really hounds bark. his nose always in the floor looking for an interesting essences.

About Lucy, The American Foxhound

Lucy, a Purebred American Foxhound was rescued by Jimmy Porter from United States.
Here's how Jimmy Porter describes Lucy :
This breed of dog requires a special family. the dog needs to be walked almost every day as it becomes bored easily. it never walks, but runs everywhere with its nose down, close to the ground. as you watch him at the end of a long leash you will see him change direction based on his nose, rather than sight. so far i cannot trust my hound. when it is quiet, i know something is being chewed, torn up or destroyed. out foster dog has tore our house up and made our back yard look like a bomb exploded. things are chewed and broken.
Does Lucy 's behavior show the inherent American Foxhound characteristics?
Yes and no. with proper training this dog will be beautiful, but he needs someone who likes this high energy dog. we are retired and it is hard upon us, but if we take him to the pound he is dead for sure.
Special Achievement of Lucy :
Would some one like to adopt this dog?
Jimmy Porter's advice on what type of family should adopt a American Foxhound:
A rancher.
