Dear Dog Lover,Over the years, I have come across a number of dog owners who are in the habit of sharing their table food with their dogs. I have repeatedly told them how harmful few of them can be but still they keep on doing it.
This results into regular dog’s health problems, not to mention increasing vet bills. Thus, to be on the safest side you need to know the exact recipes for your dog’s meals that will be well-balanced, healthy, tasty and SAFE.
Instead of sharing your table dinner with your pooch (that is definitely not healthy for him, mind you) why not cook him some special nutritious lip smacking recipes, right at home? You can do all that and much much more, with Canine Cuisine in your hands.
Now and then cooking your dog some homemade dog treats is a delight for all dog owners. While you probably love to spoil your pooch rotten with different Gourmet Treats you can find, you know that the most important thing for any doggie diet is health.
Your dog needs quality ingredients, the right nutritional proportions, and something that will keep him full and satisfied without packing on the pounds.
You can always buy a bag of Dog Food for your dog every week. Most of them are healthy and packed with balanced nutritional ingredients. But sometimes it does feel good to cook some yummy homemade meals for your dog.
When your dog is done with dinner, give him a thank you for being such a great buddy by tossing him one of the Treat you’ve made for him and see how happy he becomes.
In case your dog has weight problems, or is overweight, steer him away high in fat content diet and calories. Stick to fat-free diet or those that have low calorie content.
In general, foods with:
A balance of Omega 3 & Omega 6 fatty acids helps to improve coat and skin health
Moderate protein content are best for non-working dogs
Meat as the source of protein are best
Also, foods based on corn or containing soybeans may not be suitable for some dogs.

Usually we walk into our nearest supermarket and buy the can that is most easily accessible. But I can give you a word of warning on this.
Supermarkets do not usually stock the dog foods that are the most nutritious for your dog. They usually tie up with distributors whose lines they sell. They are seldom all that knowledgeable or indeed particular about dog foods and which brands are most suitable for dogs to eat.
Even big chains or even the large pet store chains may not satisfy the really discerning dog lover who is looking for quality food for his pet. The yummy smell of the dinner might make your dog steal the food from the table with you not even noticing it.
By being aware of these food-safety-measures, you can make every meal healthy and safe for your beloved pet dog.
