Chyna, a Purebred Chinese Shar-Pei was adopted by Yvonne Spain from Australia.
Here's how Yvonne Spain describes Chyna :
Fun loving, social, like a big kid, very protective of his home and family.
Does Chyna 's behavior show the inherent Chinese Shar-Pei characteristics?
Yes to a point in regards to protecting her home and owners. but is friendly to other dogs has very good social skills.
Special Achievement of Chyna :
Chyna is very fussy when it comes to food. i would not trade her in for the world and am awaiting the arrival of a male for her so i can start breeding from her. chyna is a original chinese bone mouth horse coat sharpei and i sometimes have trouble in the show ring with her as she is different to the brush coat. but international judges love her. just like we do.....
Yvonne Spain's advice on what type of family should adopt a Chinese Shar-Pei:
I would recommend a loving family that has good harmony as they pick up when u are upset or not feeling well. and with older children, say from the age of 5. and older people as they do not need that much exercise and are good companion dogs.
