All About Taking Care, Housebreaking & Training Your Blue Heeler...
So Your Dog Correctly Bonds With You to Become a True Friend For Life

Australian Cattle Dogs – Blue Heelers, Red Heelers, and Queensland Heelers – were bred to herd cattle by nipping at their heels. They have great strength, energy and endurance.

Heelers are very alert, loyal and relentlessly protective. They are happiest when they have a protecting job to do. Australian Cattle Dogs need proper exercise and training to channel their energy. If they do not get enough exercise, they will get very heavy as adults.

Learn to give your Australian Cattle Dog a job and a territory. They are independent thinkers who are capable of complex problem solving and working routine tasks without supervision, but they are fairly intolerant of young children.
