An extremely loyal and affectionate family pet, the American
Staffordshire Terrier is good-natured and quite amusing. He is confident and
happy, pleasant and friendly. Being an easy dog to train to lead, the Am Staff
loves to please his owner.
Although some American Staffordshire Terriers are difficult to housebreak, they
are great with children as well as adults. If backed into a corner or if his
family is threatened, the Am Staff will fight to the death. He has a very high
pain tolerance.
